With such heroism we can say that in the name of armed worship there was not a single house in the past where there was no knife, hammer, crowbar, spade and plunger in every house. But even if the thief comes today we have the plastic wipe, the plastic knife, to defend ourselves.

At present, Vinayaka Chaturthi is celebrated by Hindus irrespective of caste or party in more than 1.5 lakh places.
